My photography has mostly been about the finer detail.

Look at the stamens in a flower, the textures of worn, faded paint work, the light on a profile, the patina of rusty metal, something forgotten: the beauty of something insignificant.

There is always something beautiful to be found in ordinary, day to day things.

My husband Keith used to wonder what made someone whisk an egg white, add sugar, then gently bake the pale fluffed up mixture? A real alchemy of ordinary things.

I love to cook, design, invent recipes, hunt for lovely things, travel, feed my favourite people.

So why not combine it all, and do it anywhere in the world?

That’s what Keith would have said….
